Terms of Service
Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using VendorInspect at vendorinspect.com ("the Service"), operated by VendorInspect ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Description of Service
VendorInspect is an AI-powered vendor due diligence tool. It retrieves and analyses publicly available information about a vendor's website to produce a structured intelligence report ("Report"). Each Report is a one-time, paid deliverable.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and using the Service for lawful business purposes. By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements.
3. Acceptable Use
You may use the Service only to assess vendors for legitimate procurement, compliance, or due diligence purposes. You must not:
- Submit URLs with the intent to harass, defame, or harm the owner of that domain.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or automate the Service without our written consent.
- Resell or redistribute Reports without our written consent.
- Use the Service in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
4. Payment & Refunds
Each inspection is a one-time fee of $29.99 USD, processed by Lemon Squeezy. Payment is due before the Report is generated.
Because Reports are generated immediately upon payment and consume AI processing resources, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds except where required by applicable consumer law or where the Report was not delivered due to a technical fault on our side. If you believe there was a technical error, contact us within 7 days of purchase.
5. Nature of Reports — No Warranty
Reports are compiled from publicly available signals only. They do not constitute:
- A legal opinion or legal advice.
- A security audit or penetration test.
- A certification, endorsement, or condemnation of any vendor.
- A guarantee of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose.
You are solely responsible for any decisions made based on Report content. Always consult qualified legal, security, and compliance professionals before onboarding third-party suppliers.
6. Intellectual Property
The Service, its software, branding, and the report template are owned by VendorInspect and protected by copyright. The compiled Report you receive is licensed to you for your internal business use only. You may not republish or sell Reports without our consent.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, VendorInspect shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant Report.
9. Third-Party Services
The Service relies on third-party sub-processors (Anthropic, Supabase, Lemon Squeezy, Resend). We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or acts of these providers.
10. Modifications to the Service
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice. We will not be liable to you for any such modification, suspension, or discontinuation.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which VendorInspect is registered, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.
